Privacy Policy

Privacy at a glance: Betix processes information needed to operate accounts, publish events, process ticket purchases, maintain ticket records and protect the platform. Betix does not request your Pi Network passphrase or private wallet key.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Betix may collect, use, store and disclose information in connection with its ticketing platform, including event publication, ticket purchases, ticket management and support.

2. Information We May Collect

Account and Pi Network information

Pi Network username or identifier made available through the supported connection flow.
Wallet address or public wallet information needed for transaction-related functions.
Profile information provided for platform functionality.

Event and organizer information

Event title, description, date, time, location and conditions.
Ticket price, quantity and ticket configuration.
Images and other content submitted by organizers.

Ticket and transaction information

Purchased or issued ticket records and identifiers.
QR-code-related information used for verification.
Transaction amounts, including ticket price and applicable Betix fees.
Relevant Pi transaction references or blockchain information.

Technical information

Depending on platform configuration, Betix may process technical information needed for security, troubleshooting, sessions and service operation.

3. Information We Do Not Request

Betix does not need your Pi Network password, wallet passphrase or private wallet key. Never send these credentials to Betix or another person claiming to represent it.

4. How We Use Information

Operate accounts and platform features.
Publish and manage events.
Create, store, display and verify tickets.
Support Pi-denominated payments and calculate applicable fees.
Detect fraud, abuse and unauthorized activity.
Provide support and troubleshoot technical issues.
Improve reliability, security and usability.
Meet applicable legal obligations.

5. Betix Fees and Transaction Records

Betix charges a 2% service fee to the ticket buyer, added to the ticket price before purchase confirmation. Betix also charges a 5% commission to the event creator/organizer in connection with applicable ticket sales.

These fees are separate: the 2% fee is a buyer-side service fee, while the 5% charge is an organizer-side Betix commission. Records of these amounts may be processed as part of transaction and operational records.

6. How Information May Be Shared

Pi Network/payment infrastructure: where necessary for supported Pi-related transactions.
Event organizers: information reasonably necessary to validate tickets or administer an event.
Technical service providers: where necessary for hosting, storage, security or platform maintenance.
Legal or security requests: where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect users, rights or the platform.

Betix does not sell personal information as a business model.

7. Blockchain and Public Transaction Information

Pi blockchain transactions may create persistent records visible through blockchain infrastructure. Betix does not control the public nature or retention characteristics of the underlying blockchain.

8. Storage and Security

Betix uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users must protect their devices, accounts and wallet credentials.

9. Data Retention

Information may be retained as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain ticket and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce platform rules, maintain security and comply with legal obligations. Blockchain records may persist independently of Betix.

10. Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing and, where applicable, receive your information in a portable format.

Some requests may be limited where information must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention or transaction purposes. Blockchain records may also be outside Betix's ability to alter or delete.

11. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Depending on the platform configuration, Betix may use cookies, browser storage or similar technical mechanisms for sessions, preferences, security, functionality or service measurement. Disabling certain technologies may affect functionality.

12. Children's Privacy

Betix is intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information to Betix, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

Betix may rely on or link to third-party services, including Pi Network and technical infrastructure providers. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, which may apply independently.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Betix may update this Privacy Policy when the platform, legal requirements or data practices change. The last-updated date identifies the current published version.
