TERMS OF USE
Rules governing the use of the Betix ticketing platform

1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms govern access to and use of Betix, including event discovery, event publication, ticket purchases, ticket management and related services. If you do not agree, you should not use Betix.
2. About Betix
Betix provides digital infrastructure that allows event organizers to publish events and participants to discover events and purchase tickets using Pi. Betix may provide event information, ticket records, QR-based verification and transaction-related information required to operate the service.
Betix is not the organizer of independent events listed by users. Organizers remain responsible for their events, including content, venue, schedule, capacity, admission rules and fulfillment of commitments to ticket holders.
3. Eligibility and Account Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Pi Network account where required. You are responsible for accurate information and for protecting your account and wallet credentials.
Betix does not request or store your Pi Network passphrase or private wallet key. Never disclose these credentials to Betix, an organizer or another user.
4. Event Organizer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate event title, description, date, time, location, conditions, price and ticket quantity.
- Have the authority and required permissions to publish and operate the event.
- Comply with applicable laws, permits, venue requirements and consumer obligations.
- Manage admission and verify valid tickets at the event.
- Communicate material changes, postponements or cancellations to participants.
- Do not publish fraudulent, misleading, unlawful or prohibited content.
5. Ticket Purchases and Buyer Responsibilities
Before purchasing, participants should review the event details, price, date, time, location, organizer information, quantity and conditions displayed on the event page.
Tickets and QR codes must not be duplicated, manipulated, falsified, fraudulently used or otherwise misused. Admission remains subject to the organizer's stated event rules.
6. Pi Payments and Platform Fees
Betix uses Pi as the payment currency for ticket purchases. Users should verify the event, amount and payment information before confirming a transaction.

For a ticket price of P Pi, the buyer service fee is 0.02 × P, so the buyer total before any applicable network fee is P + 0.02P. The organizer-side Betix commission is 0.05 × P per applicable ticket sale.
Pi Network transaction or network fees, if applicable, are separate from Betix fees. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible once confirmed.
7. Cancellations, Changes and Refunds
Event cancellations, postponements and event-specific refund arrangements are primarily the responsibility of the organizer, subject to applicable law and the terms presented for the event.
Betix does not guarantee that an independently organized event will occur or meet a participant's expectations.
8. Prohibited Activities
Users must not create fake events, impersonate others, manipulate ticket availability, use stolen credentials, submit malicious or unlawful content, interfere with the platform, or bypass security controls.
9. Intellectual Property and User Content
Betix branding, software, interface and platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Organizers remain responsible for content they submit and grant Betix the permissions reasonably necessary to host and display that content as part of the service.
10. Availability and Security
Betix aims to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, technical failures, third-party dependencies, blockchain conditions or security incidents may affect functionality.
11. Privacy
Betix processes information needed to operate accounts, events, tickets and payments. Details are provided in the Betix Privacy Policy, which forms part of the platform's legal information.
12. Suspension and Termination
Betix may restrict or terminate access where necessary to protect users, investigate suspected fraud or abuse, comply with legal requirements, protect the platform or enforce these Terms.
13. Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Betix is not responsible for independent organizer conduct, inaccurate event information supplied by organizers, event cancellations or changes caused by organizers, venue conditions, participant conduct, blockchain interruptions or losses resulting from failure to verify transaction details.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.
14. Changes to the Service or Terms
Betix may update, modify, suspend or discontinue features for development, security, maintenance, compliance or operational reasons. Revised Terms become effective when published unless otherwise stated.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are intended to be interpreted under the applicable law governing Betix and its operations, subject to mandatory legal and consumer-protection rights. Users and organizers should first attempt to resolve disputes directly and in good faith.
